Calvin Schwartz’s account of Cameron’s life was so relatable to my life growing up at the same time in North JerseyCalvin so perfectly captured the feeling of dread concerning the Viet Nam era the Draft. The cultural and morel changes of the 60’s and 70’s. The uppers we took to study. The male/female relationships and our lack of sophistication and maturity to sustain a marriage fresh out of our parents home. Bottom Line. Can’t wait for Calvin to create the next novel. I enjoyed this one immensely.
